Go Tell Robert Kocharyan What to Talk About, If You Can: Vahagn Aleksanyan

During an extraordinary session of the National Assembly, Vahagn Aleksanyan, a member of the 'Civil Contract' faction, addressed representatives of the 'Armenia' alliance with a question about whether they have exited politics and received corresponding instructions.

According to Aleksanyan, the 'Russian oligarch's party' is currently displaying activity in the political arena. He noted that the chances of the 'Armenia' alliance surpassing the parliamentary threshold are extremely low, and their political passivity is evident.

“If you haven’t exited politics, let us know. It’s clear that your chances are very low, and the overall logic suggests that you have been told not to speak or appear because you are lowering the ratings in the opposition field,” Aleksanyan stated.

He emphasized that all facts point to the establishment of such a decision, and that the opposition is acting as implementers of that decision.

Aleksanyan also responded to interventions from opposition lawmakers Artavazd Minasyan and Arthur Khachaturyan, urging them not to interrupt him. “Don’t speak from your seats while I am talking here. If you have something to say, go talk from other places. I will decide what to speak about; you cannot decide that. Go tell Robert Kocharyan what he should talk about, if you can,” he concluded.
