Trump Announces Use of New Secret Weapon by the U.S. in Venezuela Operation to Capture Maduro

U.S. President Donald Trump has announced in an interview with the New York Post that American military forces utilized a new secret weapon during the operation to capture Venezuelan leader Nicolás Maduro. He claims this weapon played a decisive role in the effort to apprehend Maduro.

The President further stated that the "Discombobulator" helped neutralize Venezuelan military technology produced in China and Russia.

Trump referenced the new weapon in the context of CNN reports indicating that the U.S. Department of Homeland Security had acquired a device that allegedly could cause what is known as the "Havana Syndrome." This syndrome was first mentioned in 2016 when staff at the U.S. Embassy in Havana reported symptoms such as persistent ringing in the ears, pain, a sense of pressure in the head, and dizziness.

The New York Post, citing witnesses to the operation to capture Maduro, reports that during the assault by U.S. forces, security personnel of the Venezuelan President suddenly began to bleed from their noses, with some reportedly also vomiting blood. According to the Ministry of Defense of Venezuela, 83 people were killed during the U.S. operation.

In his comments to the publication, Trump declined to disclose any further details about the new weapon.
