Trump Makes Risky Proposal to Zelensky, Media Reports

According to Corriere della Sera, Trump has proposed to Zelensky to concede part of Donbass in exchange for money and security guarantees.

“In Davos, Trump and Zelensky held a one-hour meeting to discuss a plan for stopping the war. According to the publication, the main point of the proposal was a possible transfer of the part of Donetsk currently not under Moscow's control to Russia. In return, Ukraine is being offered a $800 billion financial recovery package and security guarantees from the U.S. and Europe. This decision is considered extremely risky and unpopular within Ukraine, and no final agreements have yet been reached,” the article states.
