The incident occurred on the evening of January 22. The boy, named Kolya, was last seen leaving his home with an unknown person, and shortly after, the parents began receiving videos in which the boy pleads for the money to be returned.
A criminal case has been opened on the charge of "Minor Abduction." Search operations for the teenager are ongoing.
According to preliminary reports, the abducted teenager is the son of prominent businessman Andrey Kaplyan. Investigators believe that Kolya left home late in the evening, and three million rubles have also gone missing from the family safe.
Unknown individuals have reached out to Andrey Kaplyan via Telegram, demanding a ransom of 30 million rubles.
Authorities are currently investigating all circumstances surrounding the abduction and examining the possibility of fraudsters being involved in the minor's disappearance.
Andrey Kaplyan is a well-known businessman in Krasnoyarsk and the director of the company "Avtospetzmash." On the same day, another teenager, 14-year-old Natalia Elkin, also went missing in Krasnoyarsk.
