How does the health insurance package activate? Does the citizen need to take any action? The answers to these questions can be found in the video. The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia has shared a video on their Facebook page regarding this matter.

It is important to note that the mandatory health insurance process will begin in 2026 and is expected to conclude in 2028. On October 1, the Minister of Health Anahit Avanesyan announced that the first phase would include individuals earning 200,000 AMD and above, with an insurance package established at 129,600 AMD. This package will cover preventive care, early detection, screening, hospitalization programs, medication provision, and emergency services.
