Trump Changes Mind on Tariffs Against European Countries
Donald Trump has reversed his decision on imposing tariffs on European countries due to disagreements regarding Greenland. The U.S. President made this announcement following a meeting with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte at the World Economic Forum in Davos.
According to Trump, they were able to 'shape a framework for a future agreement regarding Greenland and the entire Arctic region.' He stated, 'This decision, if implemented, will greatly benefit the United States and all NATO countries. Based on this, I will not impose the tariffs that were expected to go into effect on February 1.'
Neither party has yet provided details on the framework agreement.
