The Spokesperson of the 'In Our Way' Movement Responds to Taron Chakhoyan's Statement
The spokesperson for the 'In Our Way' movement, Marianna Ghahramanyan, stated that the claims made by Taron Chakhoyan, Deputy Head of the Prime Minister's Office of Armenia, do not correspond to reality and constitute misinformation.
According to her, Narek Karapetyan has voluntarily transferred his entire salary during his tenure at HETC to the 'Tashir' charitable foundation to support pensioners and other socially vulnerable groups.
Ghahramanyan noted that the link to the relevant publication and the accompanying documentation were published back in September, as shared by Narek Karapetyan.
In response to the video posted by Taron Chakhoyan, the spokesperson also mentioned that the salary of the HETC board of directors is paid from Samvel Karapetyan's personal funds.
"The government is about serving the people, not about high salaries and millions in bonuses," Ghahramanyan emphasized.
It is reminded that Taron Chakhoyan recently posted a video on his Facebook page addressing one of Narek Karapetyan's latest statements, in which he indicated a willingness to serve as prime minister for just 1 dram.
