Mopeds, Tricycles, and Quadricycles to Become Subject to Mandatory Insurance

The government of Armenia has approved a draft law on amendments to the "Mandatory Insurance of Liability Arising from the Use of Motor Vehicles" during its session on January 22.

The purpose of the draft law is to clarify the requirement for mandatory insurance of liability arising from the use of motor vehicles registered based on the criteria established by the decision within the territory of the Republic of Armenia.

The draft proposes the inclusion of mopeds, tricycles, and quadricycles in clause 4 of part 1 of Article 3 of the law. As a result, the process of mandatory insurance for mopeds, tricycles, and quadricycles will be regulated.
