Trump's Statements on Greenland Impact EU-US Trade Agreement

Due to Trump's comments regarding Greenland, the European Parliament is suspending work on the EU-US trade agreement signed in Scotland in the summer of 2025. "Our sovereignty and territorial integrity are at risk. It is impossible to act as usual," wrote European Parliament member Bernd Lange on social media.

As reported by Reuters, Brussels is thus protesting against Trump's demands regarding Greenland and his threats to impose tariffs on European allies that do not support his plans.
