Russia Ready to Donate $1 Billion to the Peace Council: Putin

Russia is ready to donate $1 billion to the Peace Council, announced Vladimir Putin. Putin expressed gratitude to U.S. President Donald Trump for inviting him to the "Peace Council for the Reconstruction of the Gaza Strip." The president stated that Russia is prepared to donate $1 billion from its frozen assets in the U.S. to this organization.

He added that Moscow is discussing with Washington the use of frozen assets for the restoration of territories in the Northeast Asia region.

According to Bloomberg, U.S. authorities are requesting countries aspiring to hold a permanent seat on the international Peace Council for Gaza to contribute at least $1 billion.
