Roads Closed in Armenia

The Rescue Service informs that there are closed roads in the territory of Armenia.

The roads leading from the "Amberd" high-altitude meteorological station in the Aragatsotn region to the Amberd fortress and Kharij lake are closed. The Meghri mountain pass, the Vanadzor-Dilijan road, and the road from the Jermuk intersection to Kapan are closed for vehicles with trailers. The Vardenyats mountain pass is closed for vehicles with trailers, and is passable with difficulty for other vehicles.

There are patches of black ice on the roads in the regions of Aparan, Aragats, Dilijan, Sevan, Chambarak, Martuni, Gavar, Abovyan, Hrazdan, Nairi, Sisian, Goris, Ashotq, and Amasia. Snowfall is reported on the roads in the Aparan, Aragats, and Artik regions.
