Vardenyats Pass Closed for Trailer Transport

As of January 20, at 20:00, all inter-state and republican significance roads in Armenia are open. This information has been provided by the Road Department.

Responsible organizations continue to work on clearing and salting the roads. The Meghri Pass, Vanadzor-Dilijan road, the section from the Jermuk intersection to Kapan, and the Lusashogh-Lanjarr road are closed for trailer transport.

The Vardenyats Pass is closed for trailer vehicles, while other vehicles face difficult conditions. Blizzards are reported on the roads in the Aragats and Artik regions. Ice patches can be found on the roads in the Aparan, Aragats, Sevan, Dilijan, Jambarak, Martuni, Gavar, Abovyan, Hrazdan, Nairi, Sisian, Goris, Ashotq, and Amasia regions.
