US-EU Trade Wars Will Affect Everyone, Says Vucic

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic stated at the Davos Forum that US-EU trade wars will impact everyone around the world.

Vucic noted that European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen repeated twice in her speech that there is a 'political divorce' occurring between the US and the EU, and he referred to the US tariffs as a significant mistake. He promised a 'proportionate, unbroken, and united response' from the EU.

'The consequences will affect all of us. The games associated with the cessation of trade, the imposition of trade controls, and the forced decision-making based on international institutions and national interests or state policies are not good. The Chinese Vice Premier also addressed this, insisting on adherence to WTO rules, but unfortunately that no longer exists,' the Serbian president remarked, adding that he expects a response from US President Donald Trump regarding the EU in Davos.
