Khandanyan on Unimpeded Passage of Azerbaijanis through Armenia

The document has been negotiated, and I see no basis for renegotiation. We have repeatedly commented on the issue of unimpeded passage. Armenia will not create any obstacles for the passage from Azerbaijan to Nakhichevan, or for international transit, but naturally, this passage will occur under Armenia's jurisdiction. This was stated by the Deputy of the National Assembly from the 'Civil Contract' faction and the chairman of the standing committee on foreign affairs, Sargis Khandanyan, during a press briefing.

Commenting on Armen Rustamyan's statement regarding the lack of a legal document for TAMP and Armenia having 26% sovereignty, Khandanyan noted that it is written in the preamble of the document that it is not legal. 'One does not need to be a great negotiator, analyst, or theorist to understand that this document has no legal force. It is a statement resulting from the negotiations between the foreign minister and the secretary. It is a framework and a political commitment that will be followed by legal documents.'
