I Will Publish Absences Name by Name: Alen Simonyan to the Opposition
You come here, criticize us, give interviews, but do not take the time to familiarize yourselves, I believe this is illogical. This was stated by Alen Simonyan during the 11th session of the 8th convocation of the National Assembly, responding to Gegham Manukyan's question regarding the non-publication of the report by the inquiry commission on the 44-day war.
"I consider the speculations on this topic unnecessary; the fact that all 107 deputies of the National Assembly must familiarize themselves with the report is a reality. It has been half a year, and no one misses an opportunity to talk about this. Stop speculating about it," he noted.
"Soon, I will publish how many of you are absent; in the last 5 years, you have not come like poor students. Not to mention that you do not participate in the commission's sessions at all. The last time Seyran Ohanyan attended a council session, I don’t even remember when that was. There is no problem, I will ask the secretariat to organize your absences, and I will publish them name by name," Simonyan stated, indicating that he could disclose the number of absences of the opposition factions.
