This is the latest news: Medvedev on global predictions
The absurd forecasts regarding the developments in global politics are beginning to come true. This was announced by Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of Russia, on his Telegram channel.
“At first, I thought this was another absurd prediction, like those I made for the years 2022-2024. But no. This is the latest news,” Medvedev wrote.
As examples, he cited discussions about possible U.S. actions regarding Greenland, statements by French officials about leaving NATO, Yulia Tymoshenko's comments on the situation in Ukraine and the future of the country, announcements by Moldovan leaders about the dissolution of the country, and reports that Trump will soon declare contact with extraterrestrials.
At the end of 2023, Medvedev published predictions for 2024, which he then called absurd. Among them, he mentioned the emergence of two political parties in Russia, which would later be banned by the Russian Ministry of Justice, a radical increase in Western support for Ukraine, including a de facto relocation of the defense industry from the EU and the U.S., and large-scale funding that, according to him, would be immediately embezzled. Other predictions included the abandonment of EU police forces and a sharp increase in pressure on Donald Trump in the U.S., while maintaining the possibility of his return to power.
