Double Standards Have Returned to Europe: Chairman of the State Duma

Double standards have returned to Europe like a boomerang, and the "law of the jungle" threatens to invade the "blooming garden," said Leonid Slutsky, chairman of the State Duma's International Affairs Committee, commenting on the massive protests against the U.S. and in support of Greenland.

Large-scale demonstrations against U.S. demands regarding Greenland are taking place in several Danish cities, with participants also gathering in the Danish capital, Copenhagen, reports the Danish TV2 channel.

"Euromaidan (against U.S. President Donald Trump)... Double standards have returned to Europe. The disintegration of Yugoslavia and the recognition of Kosovo, the change of unpopular regimes in Iraq, Libya, and Syria orchestrated by the White House, and the provocation of the Ukrainian conflict—Brussels actively supported Washington in all these adventures. Now, the 'law of the jungle' threatens to invade the territory of the 'blooming garden' (remember the former head of European diplomacy, Borrell)," he wrote on his Telegram channel.
