Bail and Restriction on Absence Imposed on Samvel Karapetyan: Lawyer

The nephew of Samvel Karapetyan, Narek Karapetyan, who is the coordinator of the 'In Our Way' movement, is unable to visit him. This was stated by lawyer Aram Vardevanyan during a conversation with journalists near Karapetyan's home.

According to Vardevanyan, while Samvel Karapetyan was in prison, he spoke publicly on various issues, and at least from that format’s perspective, there will be no problems.

He informed that in addition to the house arrest measure, a combined measure has also been applied: bail and a restriction on absence.

According to Vardevanyan, it is absurd that there is still no sign of the completion of the preliminary investigation into Karapetyan's case. He stated that this is being done with the purpose of dragging out this case as much as possible in a way that it remains unaddressed.

Earlier, it was reported that Samvel Karapetyan was transferred from the NSS isolation facility to his home.
