We Will Respond to Tariff Threats Regarding Greenland: Macron

The President of France, Emmanuel Macron, has criticized the United States for its tariff threats regarding Greenland. Emmanuel Macron stated that the threat of tariffs from the U.S. concerning France's involvement in military exercises in Greenland is unacceptable.

“The threats of tariffs are unacceptable and inappropriate in this context. Europeans will respond in a united and coordinated manner if these threats are confirmed. We will ensure respect for European sovereignty,” Macron wrote on X, a social media platform.

Earlier, it was reported that Trump is imposing a 10% tariff on Europe due to the situation created in Greenland.
