Road Conditions in Armenia

The Rescue Service reports that there are closed roads in the territory of Armenia. The roads leading from the 'Amberd' high mountain meteorological station to Amberd Fortress and Kʼari Lich are closed in the Aragatsotn Province. The Vardenyats Pass is closed for trailer trucks, while other vehicles can pass with difficulty.

The section of road from the Jermuk intersection to Kapan is closed for trailer trucks. The Spitak bends, Spitak-Gyumri, and Vanadzor-Dilijan roads are difficult to navigate for trailer trucks. In the Syunik Province, there is black ice in various places on all roads, including the Tigranashen bends, Aparan, Aragats, Abovyan, Hrazdan, Nairi, Ashotq, and Amasia region roads.
