Court Upholds Bishop Gevorg Saroyan's Petition

Bishop Gevorg Saroyan has informed "First News" that the court has recently granted his petition and has enacted a measure for the approval of the application, reinstating him as the head of the Diocese of Masis until a final judicial decision is rendered through appropriate processes.

Previously, Bishop Gevorg Saroyan had reported that he filed a lawsuit against the Armenian Apostolic Holy Church, as noted by Hetq. The bishop seeks to invalidate the patriarchal directive from the Catholicos of All Armenians, which dismissed him from his position as head of the Diocese of Masis, and as a consequence, to restore his position as the head of the Diocese.
