Black Ice on Some Roads

As of 17:00 on January 16, due to snowfall, the Noravank-Harzhis-Shinuhayr and Noravank-Ltsen-Tatev roads are closed to trailer vehicles. This information is provided by the Road Department.

The Vardenyats Pass is closed to trailer vehicles, while other vehicles find it difficult to pass. There are reports of black ice on the roads in the districts of Aparan, Aragats, Spitak, Sevan, Dilijan, Jambarak, Martuni, Gavar, Abovyan, Hrazdan, Nairi, Sisian, Goris, Ashotq, and Amasya.

Interstate and national roads are open. Road construction teams are conducting cleaning and salt-sand treatment works on the roads.
