We Wanted to Resolve the Issue of Vigen's Wife Coming to Armenia, But Another Countryman Had Already Solved It: Hayk Sargsyan

Vigen Euljekchyan's wife, who returned from captivity the day before, arrives in Yerevan to meet her husband. The Lebanese-Armenian Vigen Euljekchyan is currently at the Military Investigative Department of the Republic of Armenia. Also present is Hayk Sargsyan, a member of the ruling Civil Contract party, holding flowers.

In a conversation with journalists, he mentioned that a reporter had informed him that Vigen's wife was facing issues regarding her arrival in Armenia. “By the time we got in touch, one of our compatriots had already resolved the issue of her return to Armenia, and we learned that there currently aren't any welcoming individuals in Armenia because they do not reside there permanently. So, we decided to come and welcome her ourselves. We have informed her, and she was very happy. Now we are waiting to welcome her and together go to the Muratsan Hospital, where our soldiers are being kept,” he said, adding that everyone’s hope and work is directed towards ensuring that everyone returns.
