Snow Expected as Temperatures Drop

On January 15, snow is expected in various regions of the Republic, particularly during the day on the 19th, after midday on the 17th, on the 18th, and throughout much of the night on the 19th. Blizzard conditions and low horizontal visibility are anticipated in some mountainous areas.

January 16 and the night of the 17th will see weather without precipitation. The wind will be coming from the northwest at speeds of 2-5 m/s. The air temperature is expected to gradually decrease by 6-9 degrees Celsius on January 15-16.

In the mornings, all highways across the republic should prepare for potential black ice. In Yerevan, snow is forecasted for the morning of January 15, during the day on the 17th, and on the 18th and 19th. Weather without precipitation is expected on January 16 and the night of the 17th.
