A Unified Emergency Response Number 112 to Be Launched on February 15

In order to provide a more prompt and coordinated response to citizens' calls in emergency situations, the Ministry of Internal Affairs will launch a Unified Call Center on February 15. This center will consolidate calls directed to the Police and the Rescue Service. The Ministry of Internal Affairs reports on this development.

Citizens will have the ability to connect with services under the Ministry of Internal Affairs with a single call to the emergency number 112, making the provision of assistance quicker and more effective. This initiative will ensure the simultaneous response of police officers and rescuers, reduce response times, and contribute to enhancing citizens' safety.
