Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has stated that the situation surrounding Armenia has never been more stable throughout its history than it is now.

“We realized that we should not wait for others to solve our problems. Until now, how was Armenia's regime? Since the times of Khrimyan Hairik, it was customary to knock on big doors with a wooden spoon or a silver-painted spoon to give the impression of metal, etc. Of course, major partners are of key importance, but in foreign policy, it is very common to say things you want to hear because they do not want to get into senseless disputes and debates. Our conclusion was that we need to make a decision about which path we want to take, and in that case, international assistance becomes more realistic,” he said.
