Fire in Sisian: Body of a Citizen Discovered in Bedroom

On January 14, at 10:38 AM, the Crisis Management Center of the Syunik Regional Rescue Service received a report of smoke observed from the fourth floor of a building on Vorotan Street in the city of Sisian.

Two firefighting units from the Ministry of Internal Affairs' Regional Rescue Service were dispatched to the scene. It was found that a fire had broken out in the bedroom of the apartment. The fire was contained by 10:48 AM and extinguished by 11:00 AM. Approximately 0.5 square meters of the bedroom floor, the bed, and an electric heater were burned. A citizen's body was discovered in the bedroom.
