U.S. President Donald Trump has highlighted the one advantage that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky holds in the context of the conflict with Russia.

In an interview with The New York Times, Trump stated that Zelensky essentially has no 'cards' to play to resolve the situation, a fact that has remained unchanged from the early days of the conflict up to now. The President emphasized that Zelensky's only advantage is connected to his relationship with Trump himself.

According to the White House leader, if that factor did not exist, everything would have turned into a complete catastrophe. Trump also expressed disappointment that an agreement between the leaders of Russia and Ukraine was not reached in January. He remarked that the expected outcomes did not meet the hopes.
