At Least 648 People Have Died During Protests in Iran

According to the Norway-based organization Iran Human Rights (IHR), the death toll during protests in Iran has reached 648.

As of the evening of January 12, Monday, the latest figures from IHR indicate that at least 648 people, including nine minors, have been killed as a result of the government's crackdown on protests in the country. However, some estimates suggest that the actual number of casualties may surpass 6,000, the organization based in Norway clarified.
