Truck Overturns: Driver Trapped in Cabin

On January 12, the Crisis Management Center of the Vayots Dzor Regional Rescue Service received a report that an accident occurred on the Yeghpin-Zangakatun highway, where a truck overturned and the driver was trapped in the cabin.

An operational group from the Ministry of Emergency Situations and a firefighting unit were dispatched to the scene. It was revealed that the Dongfeng brand truck had gone off the roadway at the 96th kilometer of the Yerevan-Meghri highway and overturned, trapping the driver inside.

The rescuers managed to extract the driver from the vehicle and brought him to an ambulance. The injured person was then hospitalized in a medical center.
