Travelers arriving at Moscow's Sheremetyevo Airport are facing hours of wait time to retrieve their luggage. According to one passenger, the issues pertain to the entire logistics chain, from disembarking the aircraft to runway availability and luggage delivery. They stated that the situation is particularly uncomfortable after long flights.

The airport's press service announced that operations continue under normal conditions, and the delays are attributed to heavy and continuous snowfall. It has been noted that the weather conditions caused by the 'Francis' cyclone have significantly slowed down the airport's services.

Additionally, the airport has warned that due to adverse weather, there may also be extensions to flight departure times as additional pre-flight procedures are necessary. Rosaviatsiya has taken control of the situation regarding luggage delivery at Sheremetyevo.
