Travel Exclusively with Winter Tires: Icy Conditions and Closed Roads

The roads leading to Amberd Fortress and Kari Lake are closed, as reported by the Rescue Service, citing the high mountain meteorological station "Amberd" in the Aragatsotn region.

There is black ice on some roads in the regions of Aparan, Aragats, Sevan, Jambarak, Martuni, Gavar, Abovyan, Hrazdan, Nairi, Goris, Ashotq, and Amasia. According to information received from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia's Emergency Management Department and the Crisis Management Center of the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry in North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is open for all types of vehicles.

The authorities urge drivers to travel exclusively with winter tires.
