That Demand Has Been Included in the Agenda for Negotiations with Ukraine: US President

US President Donald Trump has announced that he has had to exert significant efforts to secure the return of financial resources previously provided to Ukraine. According to him, this process should be ensured through an agreement concerning rare metals.

In an interview with Fox News, Trump stated that the previous administration, led by former President Joe Biden, transferred approximately $350 billion to Ukraine, but the US has, in his words, received nothing in return from that money.

Trump emphasized that an agreement has been reached under his initiative, in which the US expects to receive rare metals. The White House leader stated that Washington has clearly articulated its position that in any future cooperation, it expects the return of the provided funds.

He noted that this demand has been included in the agenda for negotiations with Ukraine. Trump assessed the deal as 'very fair' and added that its implementation would enable the US to recover its financial losses.
