Trump's Greed Serves the American People, Says Pence

U.S. Vice President Jay D. Pence has stated that President Donald Trump "strives to serve the American people," and this approach aligns with the role of the U.S. president. His comments were in response to Democrats' accusations that Trump is "very greedy" in light of U.S. actions in Venezuela.

In an interview with Fox News, Pence noted that Trump's behavior is driven by a desire to protect America's interests. According to him, this is exactly what is expected from the President of the United States— consistently advancing the interests of the country and its citizens.

The Vice President articulated that Trump is "committed to ensuring the prosperity of the American people" and is willing to take a hard stance on foreign policy issues to achieve this goal. He emphasized that such an approach should not be interpreted negatively.

It is worth noting that on January 3, the United States launched a large-scale operation against Venezuela, capturing President Nicolás Maduro and his wife, Cilia Flores, and transferring them to New York. President Donald Trump announced that Maduro and Flores would face charges in court for their involvement in "narco-terrorism" and posing a threat to the United States. Maduro and his wife pleaded not guilty during the hearings held in a New York court.
