Negotiations for Settlement in Ukraine Are Actively Being Hampered: Fico

“Peace negotiations in Ukraine are being deliberately obstructed. Intentionally. There is no real interest in ending this conflict through peaceful means as quickly as possible. The steps being taken rather indicate that the conflict in Ukraine will continue for many more months,” said Fico at a joint press conference with Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babis.

Fico excluded sending Slovak troops to Ukraine, stating that the country will focus on mutually beneficial energy and transportation projects that would benefit the people of Ukraine.
