False: Archbishop Yeghiazar Comments on the Documents Published by the NSS

The head of the Armenian Apostolic Church in Russia and New Nakhichevan, Archbishop Yeghiazar Nersisyan, has addressed the recently declassified document concerning him.

"It is false," Archbishop Yeghiazar Nersisyan stated, according to GALA TV, referring to the NSS document which claims that he was recruited by the Soviet KGB in the 1980s.

Earlier, MP Vahagn Aleksanyan had written on Facebook, "It has been officially confirmed by the NSS that the brother of Katritch is a KGB agent."
