Fire in Garage: Car Burned, One Injured

On January 8, at 20:24, the crisis management center of the Syunik regional rescue service received a call reporting a fire in a garage in the village of Lernadzor. Three firefighting units from the regional rescue service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations were dispatched to the scene.

It was determined that the fire erupted in a garage adjacent to one of the houses in the 5th neighborhood of Lernadzor. The fire was contained by 21:27 and fully extinguished by 22:10. One civilian was hospitalized for medical treatment.

The wooden construction elements of the garage were burned, along with an Opel car parked inside, and household items in an adjacent storage room. Firefighters managed to prevent the spread of the fire to a nearby residential house.
