Thousands of French Soldiers to be Deployed for Peacekeeping in Ukraine: Macron

After the ceasefire, thousands of French soldiers may be involved in peacekeeping efforts in Ukraine. This was announced by French President Emmanuel Macron.

“Following the cessation of military operations, France aims to provide Ukraine with satellite data, revitalize the Ukrainian army, and demonstrate its readiness to deploy French troops as part of multinational forces,” he stated.

According to him, these forces will not participate in combat operations but will act as a 'security force' for the peace agreement.
