Greenland Acquisition Beneficial for the US, Says Karoline Levitt

The acquisition of Greenland by the United States can be viewed as a beneficial option from a national security perspective, stated White House Press Secretary Karoline Levitt.

According to her, this issue is not new on the American political agenda, as U.S. presidents have addressed ideas pertaining to Greenland at different times since the 19th century.

Levitt noted that President Donald Trump does not rule out discussions of various scenarios, emphasizing that his approach differs from those of previous presidents. In her words, Trump considers all possible options and chooses paths that are most aligned with U.S. interests.

At the same time, the White House spokesperson underscored that diplomatic avenues remain a priority for Trump. She stated that although various possibilities are being discussed, including theoretical scenarios, the main goal of U.S. leadership is to resolve issues through political and diplomatic mechanisms.

The White House also emphasized that discussions around Greenland are linked to regional security, strategic positioning, and global challenges, although no official decisions regarding concrete actions have been announced.
