Ursula von der Leyen Calls Ukraine's EU Membership the Most Important Guarantee of Security

After a phone conversation with EU leaders, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen described Ukraine's membership in the European Union as the most important guarantee of security.

This was reported by Armenpress, referencing a post made by the head of the European Commission on the social media platform X.

“Today we had a great discussion with European leaders about our support for Ukraine, its security, and the country's reconstruction. Ultimately, the prosperity of a free Ukrainian state depends on its membership in the EU. This is also, in itself, the most important guarantee of security,” wrote Ursula von der Leyen.
