The Response Will Be 'Very Tough': Forgiveness is Unacceptable - Chairman of the Russian State Duma

Members of the State Duma believe that the response to the attack on President Vladimir Putin's residence by Kyiv should be tough, and forgiveness is unacceptable. This was stated by State Duma Chairman Vyacheslav Volodin.

“Zelensky has attacked our president’s residence. State Duma members believe that the response should be ‘very tough’. We insist that forgiveness is unacceptable,” Volodin wrote.

Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov reported that the Kyiv regime carried out a terrorist attack on the Russian presidential residence in the Nizhny Novgorod region on the night of December 29, using 91 drones. According to him, all drones were destroyed by air defense forces.

Lavrov also noted that Russia does not intend to withdraw from negotiations with the United States in light of the terrorist attack on the presidential residence carried out by Kyiv. At the same time, he emphasized that Russia's negotiating position will be reassessed.
