Blizzard and Black Ice: Current Road Conditions

As of December 30 at 16:00, the Noravank-Ltsen-Tatev, Vanadzor-Dilijan roads, and the Vardenyats Pass are closed to vehicles with trailers. This information was provided by the Road Department.

According to the report, the Ttujur-Navur road is closed to vehicles with trailers, while other types of vehicles face difficult conditions. There are patches of black ice on the roads in the regions of Aparan, Aragats, Vanadzor, Tumanyan, Tashir, Sevan, Chambarak, Martuni, Gavar, Abovyan, Hrazdan, Nairi, Vayk, Sisian, Goris, Ashotzk, and Amasia. Blizzard conditions are reported in the Alagyaz-Artik section.

However, other inter-state and republican roads remain open. Road construction teams are currently conducting cleaning and treatment work with salt and sand on these roads.
