Blizzard, Snow, Ice: Current Situation on Roads in Armenia

As of December 29 at 16:00, the Ththujur-Navur road is closed to all types of vehicles due to heavy snowfall. This was reported by the Road Department.

The Noravan-Ltsen-Tatev road and the Vardenyats Pass are closed for vehicles with trailers. Icy conditions are present on the roads in the regions of Gavarr, Kapan, Artik, Aparan, Aragats, Nairi, Hrazdan, Tashir, Sevan, and Ijevan.

There is a blizzard on the road from Sevan to Gavarr. Snowfall is occurring in the regions of Vayk, Sisian, Chambarak, Ashotk, Aparan, Aragats, Hrazdan, and Sevan, as well as in the Meghri Pass.

Other interstate and republican roads remain open. Road construction teams are carrying out cleaning and salt-sand treatment on the roadways.
