Emergency Services to Operate in Enhanced Mode During Holidays
Assistant Minister of Health Armen Gasparyan initiated a working meeting with the leaders of the "Republican Emergency Service." This was reported by the Ministry of Health.
The director of the service, Sahak Hakobyan, presented the annual report of the service, highlighting achievements and upcoming plans. He mentioned that compared to the previous year, the number of emergency service stations and posts had tripled, and substantial work is being conducted to expand the center's geography by providing renovated and re-equipped facilities.
In summarizing, he noted that around 130,000 calls were serviced last year.
Armen Gasparyan emphasized the importance of the service, especially during the holiday season, and the need to increase sensitivity due to anticipated challenges. He instructed the formation of duty brigades, adding one medical brigade to each station, and organizing operations in an enhanced mode.
