UK Prime Minister Fails to Join Zelensky and European Leaders' Talks
The UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer did not participate in talks with European leaders and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky due to a busy schedule, reports the Telegraph, citing Starmer's office.
Ukrainian President Zelensky held a phone conversation last night with French President Emmanuel Macron, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk, and NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg.
“Starmer missed the important meeting with Volodymyr Zelensky and European leaders due to a 'busy schedule',” the Telegraph reports, noting that in the Prime Minister's absence, his national security adviser Jonathan Powell was present during the negotiations.
