Iran and Qatar's Foreign Ministers Discuss Israeli Violations of Ceasefire Agreements

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi held a phone conversation with his Qatari counterpart Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, during which the parties exchanged views on important regional issues, reported the IRNA news agency.

The ministers expressed concern over the situation in Palestine and Lebanon, specifically regarding Israel's violations of ceasefire agreements, as well as the continuation of attacks on Gaza and Lebanon and the targeting of civilian populations.

They emphasized the necessity for the international community to exert pressure on Israel to fully meet its obligations and to cease its policies of genocide, occupation, and expansionism.

Araghchi and Al Thani also discussed the recent developments in Yemen, highlighting the importance of preserving the country's territorial integrity and unity. In recent days, UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) forces have successfully gained control over most of the southern provinces of Yemen. The armed group stated that their incursions aim to drive out extremists and prevent smuggling operations.
