Death Toll Reaches Three in Accident on Gyumri-Azatan Highway

On December 28, at 14:06, the Shirak regional crisis management center received a report of a road accident on the Gyumri-Azatan highway, with casualties confirmed.

One firefighting team from the Ministry of Emergency Situations was dispatched to the scene. It was determined that at kilometer 1 of the Gyumri-Azatan highway, a collision occurred between a Mercedes-Benz and a Lada vehicle. A passenger's body was found outside the Mercedes-Benz.

The driver of the Mercedes-Benz was hospitalized. Rescuers extracted a passenger from the Lada and handed them over to emergency services; this individual was also hospitalized.

The responders secured the area, disconnected the vehicles, closed the gas cylinder valves, and removed two bodies from the vehicles.
