Britain Signs $70 Million Military Contract with Germany

The United Kingdom and Germany have signed a contract worth approximately $70 million for the supply of modern artillery systems, according to a statement from the British government.

"The UK has entered into a contract valued at £52 million (approximately $70.3 million) with Germany for the supply of modern artillery systems. As part of the deal, the UK will receive a modern RCH 155 Early Capability Demonstrator (ECD) platform, and two more will be sent to Germany for joint testing," the government’s website states.

The statement also mentions that the RCH 155 is mounted on a Boxer Armoured Personnel Carrier (APC) and can reach speeds of up to 100 kilometers per hour, engaging targets at a distance of 70 kilometers.
