What Work Has the Yerevan City Hall Done in the Field of Animal Care

In 2025, the Yerevan City Hall implemented several programs in the field of animal care. Specifically:

• Approximately 4,000 stray animals were transferred to the organization's clinic,
• Sterilization and vaccination against rabies and other infectious diseases were carried out,
• Collection of the corpses of dead animals from the streets and yards,
• About 80 homeless animals were adopted,
• Educational campaigns titled “Behavior Rules with Dogs” and visits of school-age children to the “Animal Care Center,”
• Construction of parks designed for pets,
• Construction work for a stray dog shelter will begin in Yerevan next year.
