Ukraine Lacks Resources to Fund Elections: Podolyak

Ukraine lacks the necessary resources to fund elections. This was stated by Mikhail Podolyak, an advisor to the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine. According to him, the state cannot physically cover the costs of the electoral process during wartime.

“We have a budget deficit. This is not our responsibility,” he stated. He also added that the parliamentary commission should calculate the potential cost of the elections.
